New Specification team appointment at ASSA ABLOY ASSA ABLOY has appointed Martin Withall to the new position of Specification Development Manager, covering all door opening solutions and brands aimed at the architect, specification and interior design sectors. Martin, who has over 30 years’ experience in architectural ironmongery, joins ASSA ABLOY from Hewi, a supplier of hardware, sanitary accessories, accessibility products, handrails and signage systems. Prior to this, he worked with leading architectural ironmongery companies such as Allgood and Lloyd Worrall. One of Martin’s focus areas with ASSA ABLOY will be to promote the ‘high end’ door hardware from Valli &Valli, which is designed for luxury apartments, hotels, yachts and other prestigious applications, and which combines Italian design flair with advanced manufacturing for high quality, long lasting performance Martin will operate from ASSA ABLOY’s Croydon office but covers the UK and Northern Ireland.
