Tina Hughan Tina joined the company in 2007 as Marketing Manager for Adams Rite Europe based in Swanley Kent. Tina subsequently progressed to Head of Marketing for ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions and to her current role in 2014 as ASSA ABLOY’s Marketing Director supporting the four ASSA ABLOY branded Business Units of Security Solutions, Security Doors, Access Control and UK Specification. During her 8 years with the company Tina has attended various training programmes to further develop her skills. These training programmes also provide the opportunity to network with employees across the business that she would not normally have interaction with. Tina has been involved in a number of key Marketing projects during her time with ASSA ABLOY including the Chubb rebranding to UNION in 2010 and the launch of both the Access Control and UK Specification businesses to the market in 2011 and 2014 respectively. Tina commented that as a female in ASSA ABLOY she has been given the same opportunities as her male colleagues to progress and develop her career and sees this as a positive message for female employees. The company has also supported Tina’s career by providing a flexible working arrangement as she is based in the South. Having worked for large corporates such as Securicor & BAA prior to ASSA ABLOY, Tina joined the company to further develop her career in an organisation that would enable her to apply best practice in a challenging and rewarding role. As her role is constantly changing it continues to be both stimulating and interesting.
