emergency exit (np)
egress point on an escape route that is unlikely to encounter a panic situation

emergency exit device (np)
door locking arrangement that allows keyless egress at all times, using one simple hand movement, although this may require prior knowledge of its operation (see also EN 179, EN 1125, prEN 13633 & prEN 13637)
