ASSA ABLOY Test Laboratory granted Notified status

The ASSA ABLOY Ltd Test Laboratory has been granted Notified status by the European Unit of the Department for Communities and Local Government.

The Test Lab can now carry out test work in support of CE marking for any European-based ASSA ABLOY company, as well as for external companies. It is only the second lab of its kind to be granted Notified status.

While still UKAS accredited, the new Notified status means that accredited test evidence produced by the Test Lab must be accepted.
