Academy

The ASSA ABLOY Academy is a purpose built training and product display centre, sited at the heart of our UK manufacturing facilities, near Birmingham. The Academy, which opened in Autumn 2010, is a Centre of Excellence for both internal and customer training that enables ASSA ABLOY to share our knowledge and market insights with customers and end users alike.

Throughout the year, ASSA ABLOY runs a number of different training courses for customers including specifies, architects, locksmiths, retailers and end users.  Events cover a wide range of technical, legislative and product related issues Including standards compliance, CPD events, product launches and open days. Our specially equipt Academy workshop also offers product installation training.

These activities can also be combined with visits to ASSA ABLOY’s on site manufacturing cells and this combination of theory and practical example is an important contributor to the Academy’s value.

Equipped with the latest video conferencing and IT facilities, the Academy has a number of different spaces suitable for classroom, lecture theatre, group study or individual learning.
